It says install soundfont, but it doesn't show up on synthesizer
I downloaded and unpressed a guitar.sf2 file. I double-clicked it and it said, do you want to install? I clicked yes and it took me to MuseScore. I went into the Synthesizer but the file didn't show up when I clicked the Add button.

Is it perhaps already added?
I think in order to show up in the list of soundfonts shown by the add button, the file probably needs to be in your Soundfonts folder.

I look for my soundfonts folder where it should be, but it isn't there. Besides, the guide said it should already be in the folder when you install it.

Hmm, are you sure you are looking in the proper place? Should be right next to your Scores folder - something like users/your name/documents/MuseScore2/SoundFonts. If you've inadvertently deleted it that could be part of the problem.
