Pickup measure
I choose the pickup measure as 1/4.The pickup measure applies to the very first measure.That's correct.But after a put a repeat bar, it should again switch to the pickup measure on the very first measure after the bar,but it doesn't.Also, the last bar before the repeat bar should also be different.Please help!

Please upload the score and explain what you mean by "Also, the last bar before the repeat bar should also be different."
It means that the last bar before the repeat bar should have 2/4 time.To complete with the pickup measure.
See after i put the repeat bar, the next line first bar should be in in 1/4 time(the both rests should be quarter rests).But they are not!

To make the last measure before the repeat 2/4 and the following measure 1/4, click the first note of the 1/4 measure and go to edit|measure|split Measure... You can then place the repeat in the correct spot.
