Note names plugin - order of chord tones
Is there a way to alter the plugin so that it spells out chords starting with the lowest note (and not from top to bottom)?

Yes, just open the qml file with an Editor, you'll find a comment and a commented out line of code for exactly that purpose
Edit: wrong... but there is https://musescore.org/de/project/notenames, just take the bottom to top version
