Not being to use a deleted file that has been restored

I have a serious problem. I deleted all my music,(by accident) and then restored it. it then didnt show up in the "open" window. Then I made it so it showed all files, and when i opened a song, nothing happened.
How could i resolve this?

How did you restore it? What files? Into what folder? If the files are present in a folder, then Open shoudl show them. did you perhaps restore only the backups (with "." and "," around the filename) rather than the actual file? can you post one of the files?
