Playback Suddenly Stopped Working

I use MuseScore version 2.0.3.1 Rev 6347 ed6
I have a MacBook Pro computer

The playback function has suddenly stopped functioning. I've checked the forums for information and nothing I have tried has worked.

Any help would be much appreciated!
