Typographic stunt double

This is in regards to the labelling of tones. (shortcut on a mac _command +L or K for above)

The typeface and size in question always return to their origin when switching a slot. This is peevish.

I propose, if it is at all possible, some constancy.

Thank you.

To be clear, cmd-L is for *lyrics*, cmd-K is for *chord symbols*. Neither is specifically for "labeling of tones" but for their specific purposes, and those specific purposes do require certain things to happen automatically that wouldn't with ordinary text. So I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "labeling of tones", but assuming you want to attach some other sort of information to individual notes other than lyrics or chord symbols, you might instead want to be using *staff text* (cmd-T), which is just plain text, not specially processed in accordance with its function as lyric or chord symbol.

Not sure what you mean by "switching a slot" in this context, but with ordinary text, you can change the font however you like and it stays. With chord symbols, that cannot happen the same way, because chord symbols always need to be processed in accordance with the rules in the chord name style file.
