Page fill threshold?
I just discovered that the "Style | General... | Page" dlg no longer contains the "Page fill threshold" value.
Moved elsewhere? Where?
Removed? Why?
Thanks,
M.

it's been changed to min and max system distance.

Yes. And it has been changed because newcomers were completely clueless when they discover the page fill threshold. Hopefully it will be better.

I played a little and apparently the max value is the 'real' one: systems are spaced by the max value unless they do not fit, in which case they are 'condensed' vertically down to the min value. This make rather difficult to understand how many systems will fit in a page.
This also requires to set a very unnaturally large max value just to have the few odd pages to fill up. Then, pages which are really short are enormously spaced.
The previous way seemed to me MUCH more simple and clear.

P.S.: a possibly better way could be introducing the concept of page property (pages are already there internally, but without any external visibility). Example of page properties could be:
*) vertically justified or not (which is what both these indirect methods are about)
*) page number re-start and maybe style (arabic, Roman, etc.)
*) header / footer visible / hidden
At the very best, the concept of page style could be added, but this would be a major overhaul: exposing some properties would already be a great improvement.
