MuseScore 2.0 - translation

• Sep 15, 2012 - 15:56

I recently downloaded the MuseScore 2.0 source code from the GIT repository, I opened zip file, and my question is...
WHY MSCORE_PL.TS FILE CONTAINS THE OLD POLISH TRANSLATION FROM VERSION 1.0 OF MUSESCORE (OR EARLIER)?!
I spent a lot of time to correct all bugs (orthography, punctuation, factual errors and more) in the translation... The newest version of the pl translation is always available here - translate.musescore.org.
Every time... I'll have to fix the old bugs, which I fixed a long time ago?! It's a job for fool! It doesn't make sense - the new translation for MuseScore 2.0... with old bugs from version 1.0 - great!

Could someone explain this to me? I would be very grateful if someone could give me an answer for my question.

Yes. MuseScore 2.0 source files are not updated with the new strings of the translation server. It will be done later, when MuseScore 2.0 will be more stable. There will also be new strings to translate for the new features but for the unchanged strings, of course, your work will not be lost.
