adding a pickup measure
Ive already composed the bulk of my composition and realized I need a repeat, in order for it to work the first measure would need to be a pick up note on the fourth beath in 4/4 time. Is it possible to change the first measure to an pick up?

Right-click on the first measure -> Measure properties -> Change the "actual" duration

I don't see your score, maybe useful to insert a new measure to make it as a pickup.
Also, be aware, that by this operation (eg in a 4/4 time sig), it is the end of the measure that is removed.
Eg, you have C.D.E.F quarter notes. With an actual duration to 1/4, the C will be preserved. So, do in function of you want to achieve.
