Suggestion: When you add dynamics to a note, it should erase the old one.

In other words, if you highlight a note or series of notes, then double click, for example, "ff", it should erase the "mp" (or whatever) that was already there. As it stands now, if you don't erase that "mp" first, it places the "ff" right on top, and it's not always easy to tease out the underneath dynamic markings to erase them.
