Problem with playback of repeats in score
I am a new user of MuseScore and wrote a waltz which includes a repeat with a first and second ending. When I play the score it plays the first ending, goes back to the beginning, then plays the first ending again before moving on to play the second ending. How do I program it to skip the first ending after playing it once and moving directly to the second ending?
Any help would be appreciated,

Please share the score, so we can see what is going wrong. See also https://musescore.org/en/handbook/volta
Make sure to have the end repeat barline between volta 1 and 2 and have the measure repeat count set to 2 (it rather is a play count than a repeat count)

Posting your score is always best... saves a lot of guesswork, but here I go anyway:
Right click on the second volta, then in Volta Properties set the Repeat list to 2.
