exporting to Mp3 from windows 10
I'm trying to export a file to Mp3 from Windows10, but having downloaded Lame and showed musescore where it is, I get 'could not open Mp3 encoding library'. I'm not technically brilliant, but could it be something to do with W10 and 64 bit or 32 bit? I had no problem till I had to reset my laptop and download W10, it was W7 upgraded to 10 and all worked perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I must say it's a great program that you every one!

This indicates you didn't pick the correct lame_enc.dll. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/file-formats-0#mp3
You only need the ZIP Option, http://lame.buanzo.org/libmp3lame-win-3.99.3.zip or http://lame.buanzo.org/lame_v3.99.5.zip (works for me)
As MuseScore is 32-bit (for Windows) you need a 32-bit dll too, regardless whether your OS is 64-bit. But there is no 64-bit version of that lib anyway, not for Windows at least

Thank you Jojo-Schmitz. I had downloaded 'Lame_v3.99.3_for_Windows' and 'lame_enc' and these both gave my original problem. I have just tried your 2 suggested needs above and both give a '403 HTTP ERROR' and where it suggests me to go, is where I downloaded Lame_v3.99.3_for_Windows.exe and libmp3lame-win-3.99.3.zip. I see before I reset my OS, I had backedup my downloads and I put downloaded programs in a program file within Downloads, and find I had transferred Lame_v3.99.3_for_Windows to there, so I tried that and still the same error. To me it does seem like my laptop settings? What say you? Many thanks for your kind help.

Interesting I get the 404 too now, but copied the working URL. Try the lame_v3.99.5.zip from http://lame.buanzo.org/

Thank you, I have a feeling I didn't extract it properly the first time I tried lame_v3.99.5.zip..
