crescendo plays decrescendo
I am recreating this piece for an online book including mp3 files. The crescendo is playing decrescendo. Am I missing something in the application?

Better to directly attach here rather than let us jump thru hops to get it
before the crescendo you have a forte, after it a piano, so that is why it turns into a decrescendo. This notation doesn't make sense, the musician and MuseScore need to be told from where to where a hairpin should change.
Just add a ff or fff after the hairpin, optionally make it invisible (this would tell Musescore, but not the musician)

use the "File attachments" option at the bottom of the page, just above the Save and Preview buttons when you're typing your post.
