Beam split into two groups.

I want to create split a semi-quaver group of notes into two separate beams as in the Bach example below.

Bach split beam example

Is this possible in MuseScore?

Very impressed with the program so far this is the only thing I'm struggling with :)

Came up with a solution to my own problem above not sure if it is the best.

Step 1.
Added notes for the first half of the bar.
Step 2.
Then added all the notes to be played into the top voice
Step 3.
Then added an octave below all the notes into the bottom voice.
Step 4.
I then deleted semi-quavers that weren't required. First semi-quaver of voice 1 and last semi-quaver of voice 2.
Step 5.
I then set the rests to invisible.
Step 6.
I then set the notes I didn't want to see to invisible and where possible doubled them with other voice. This wasn't always possible as sometimes the invisible notes rubbed out notes I wanted to be visible.
Final Result.
The pdf of the score shows the semi-quaver groups split into two voices and yet the correct duration is preserved.

Yes, this can be done.

1) Enter the notes as separate voices, each voicing having rests where the other has notes.

2) Then click the 2nd and 3rd rests of each group and set them to "middle ot beam - thus extending the beams over them

3) hide the rests

See the following, showing the process step by step:
