Tempo markings
I want to go from 6/8 to 2/4 with no change in the speed but lots of change in the feel. To do this I need to mark that a dotted quarter in 6/8 is = to a regular quarter in 2/4. I'd like to use the symbols for the dotted quarter and the regular quarter. Is there a way to do this?

The easiest way is to add a dotted 1/4 note tempo, then copy just the 1/4 note and paste it on top of the number. You will need to do the math to determine the new tempo to enter into the inspector (F8 to see it) under follow text (which you will need to uncheck).
