Bose Quiet Comfort 35 Noise Cancelling Headphones
I recently just purchased a new pair of headphones. They work
absolutely perfectly with every software, video, song etc. I have listened to
with them but using the playback feature of musescore creates this horrible
static-y scratching noise that makes it impossible to work with. As I use
musescore a lot in my work this is a huge problem for me so I am wondering if
this is a known issue or in general if there are any solutions to this
problem. Thank you!

Is this only with These headphones or also with normal Speakers?
You may have set the volume to high in the synthesizer

It's only with these headphones. I have tried with the normal speakers and both of my roommates' headsets. Is there a separate volume that I am not aware of?

I think I found the setting you meant and it does appear that it was causing the problem -- any ideas on why that was? Thank you so much!!!
