Question about Nightly Build Version 2.0.0 Rev. a3d95d7 - Time Signature issue - Possible bug?
I have a piece that requires me to change the time signature a few times to non-standard signatures. I used:
Display--->Master Palette--->Time Signatures which brings up a dialogue which has the standard signatures showing with room for one more in the bottom right corner. I create the custom signature and use the add button and the new signature appears in the space. I drag it into the staff and it all seems to work fine the first time.
When I have to change to another different, non-standard signature, I go go through the same menu items, right click the bottom right signature (the one I put there) and use the "clear" button. PROBLEM: The signature does not clear. However, If I leave the dialogue and come back, it will be gone. However, If I try to add another one, it won't work. If I completely close the file and MuseScore and come back, I CAN create a new, custom signature, but only the first one. I have to repeat this every time I want a new, non-standard signature.
I'm using an XP Professional Machine.
Comments
The time sig part of the master palette seems to be still work in progress. Please look at issue #15580: creation of new time signature doesn’t work for a recent assessment of the matter and for a work-around to the problem (if I understood it correctly)
thanks,

Thanks for the reply. This should probably be addressed in the finalization of Version 2. Right now, it's just a pain to have to work around it. However, I do like the current state of the Version 2 UI and the direction that it seems to be going.
Thanks.
