Turning off ping sound when cursor touches a note
Preamble: I have at last moved to version 2. Generally it is great, and one of the greatest things about it is that generally the temptation to "improve" by switching everything around just to make it "new" and waste a lot of my time has been avoided. Thanks.
One immediate problem is that now when I "touch" a note there is a ping of that pitch, which I do not want. How do I turn it off? (This is a classic example where there simply are no intuitive keywords I might search for.)

Sorry, I'm afraid I did not understand. You mean:
For the record, that didn't change any time recently or even not recently - 1.3 did this as well. I guess maybe you turned off that settings years ago and forgot :-)

Thanks! Yes, I must have done this years ago, and I can hardly remember what I did last Thursday...
