My first videoscore

Österstjernan, march for a wind band

Performed at the Colonia Ad Libitum summer camp. Conductor Ildefonso Martos.
I couldn't find out how to jump back to a previous bar in the repeats, when I created the videoscore.

I started to write this score in Sibelius, but very soon I switched to MuseScore. To me, the flow feeling is important while writing music. I'm not that kind of composer that has everything clear in his head before starting to write it down. Things happen and get created while I write. The flow is much more present, when using MuseScore!
One marvelous plugin came in very handy, when I wrote this: I could split one staff with block chords to several staves with the voices separated. Only bad thing was that I had to redraw all dynamics and other staff text. But that wasn't the plugin's fault, but MuseScore's fault. MuseScore (1.2) couldn't copy and paste the dynamics, only the notes.

Well, I hope our local brass sextet would accept the nostalgic walz. And that the restaurant would accept them to play on the auguration.

About this "Österstjernan" march, I hope to perform it on my 50th birthday next autumn, together with all the other tunes I've written for my home town.
