Unable to force note duration change
Having issues with the auto time signature within a measure. In a 4/4 time measure, where 3/4 of the measure is filled with 1/8th notes and 1 1/8th rest, the program is insisting on adding a 32nd note with a 32nd rest and will not allow me to change the last beat to the proper 1/8th note chord, even though according to the time signature that would be a legal change. It's a little bit off when it determines what notes are legal within a measure. Most frustrating.

Try going out of note entry mode, selecting the 32nd and then selecting the duration you want.

Probably you are entering the note using the mouse? There are some issues 0.9.4 when you do not place the mouse in exactly the right place. These issues are fixed in the prereleases.
