MuseScore 1.3 Installation Fails - Mac OS X Mountain Lion
I have not been able to get MuseScore 1.3 to run after installation. The error message says "MuseScore is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash." I deleted the previous installation of MuseScore, emptied the trash, restarted the computer - same effect. I deleted 1.3 installation, restarted again, tried again - same thing. No glitches in the installation process itself until I actually try to run the program, and then - nothing. Any advice would be appreciated.

Can you try to download MuseScore again? The DMG file could be corrupted during the download.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I tried downloading and reinstalling (and each time I made sure that I completely uninstalled the previous installation and restarted the computer) twice before posting on here - to no avail...

Thanks - nice to know I'm not hallucinating; any guesses as to what is going on would be much appreciated.
