hide staves
I don't know if my request is possible, but would be interesting in the case of orchestral scores :
Be able to select one by one the staves concerned by the setting "hide empty staff".
With, of course, a separate setting for the first system of the score.

Not sure what you mean here. Do you mean, a way to disable the existing "hide empty staves" features on an instrument-by-instrument basis, so that some instruments are never hidden? Or a way to mark individual staves within individual systems for hiding / not hiding? The way one can currently force a staff not to hide is to plant in invisible note on it, but this breaks multimeasure rests in the parts. Easy enough to fix after part generation, but I guess if you're fdoing this a lot that could be a pain.
For 2.0, the "hide empty staves" will have an option to not hide anything in the first system.

Be able to conserve the first system complete is a good point (in the future 2.0).
For the other point, I thought about be the possibility - as you notice- to mark individual staves within individual systems : "hide" or not, in a large orchestral score (one system by page).
I beleave it will be a great job with the automatic layout, isn't it ?
