Import a scanned file
Some times I need to scan a file such a cello part to rewrite it for bass clarinet. I have done this other programs but I am not using them because this one is so much easier to use.

Optical Music Recognition is a whole field in its own. Expensive, commercial programs exist doing this only, often with sub-optimal results. Open source alternatives also exist, with partial results.
A search for "OMR" will give you a number of threads where this has already been discussed. A very short summary is that OMR state of the art is rather low and, for anything but the simplest scores, re-writing from scratch is usually quicker and more correct.

I found my old copy of "Sharp Eye" and it imports the music via xml perfectly. I paid about $40 for the program back in 2006 and it is now listed at $169.
