Play and rewind buttons do not work
The play and rewind buttons do not work; when I open MuseScore, it shows the default 'Reunion' score, but these buttons are grey and clicking them does not do anything. The screenshot is attached.
I am using MuseScore 1.3 on Windows 7.

Is there a soundcard in your machine? What do you see in Edit / Preferences / I/O? Did any version of MuseScore ever work on your machine?

I don't know if my laptop has a sound card, but MuseScore 1.2 did work very well, until I downloaded a score for 'Payphone', where the buttons did not work. I downloaded another version which DID work, but when I accessed it today, the buttons did not work. I updated to 1.3 to see if it would solve the problem, but evidently, it has not.

Hang on, fixed the problem. For some reason, the speakers were turned off in the Sound settings on my computer (I could hear Minecraft just fine, though.)
