Repeated crashes and now whole score seems lost
I have had repeated crashes when trying to change a time signature and now the whole score appears to be corrupted. I get the following message when trying to open it:
error reading file /Users/Sandy/Dropbox/Missa_pro_defunctis.mscx at line 5015 column 1: unexpected end of file
Can anyone suggest a way of fixing this?

Step one would be to post the file here so people who are good at fixing scores could give it a shot.
There are also automatic backup copies created that could be worth looking at - one in the same folder with a name starting with a comma, and also ones in your AppData folder (Windows; whatever the equivalent is for other systems).

I tried that, but it didn't work. I'm saving it in dropbox so that i can work on it from either my desktop or laptop.

Thanks, I managed to get it back via the backup file but have deleted the corrupted file. I tried saving it online bit got an error message when I tried to do that.
