MIDI input

What a wonderful program! Thank you all for all your hard work.

Today I tried the direct MIDI input for the first time and learned that MuseScore does not recognize note intervals. I can see how this could be problematic. I've used other software that had this feature and ended up with 64th notes and strange rests.

Still, I think this could be solved to an acceptable degree by an option to set minimum note length (e.g., a sixteenth note). After all, the point is not to get a perfect score the first time -- who could do that in the middle of composition? -- but to get close.

So, my question is do you think you will add a feature to enter notes directly from a MIDI keyboard that will recognize note length?
