"package dependencies cannot be resolved" in Ubuntu

• Jul 3, 2013 - 18:20

I'm trying out Ubuntu with a dual boot using wubi, before committing to it 100%. I have no prior experience with Linux. Just installed it today, 12.04.

I went to the ubuntu software center and found musescore, but I can't install it at all :( Help anyone? Here is the detailed error text:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:

musescore: Depends: libc6 (>= 2.14) but 2.15-0ubuntu10.3 is to be installed

Depends: libportaudio2 (>= 19+svn20101113) but 19+svn20111121-1 is to be installed
