Automatic translation
I'm thinking of possible solutions with regards to translation.
This could perhaps be for the first few versions.
If a translation has begun and a word hasn't been reviewed, an automatic translation could be included next to the original English with a message: 'verify this translation'.
There could also be a disclaimer that their language hasn't been fully translated - it could encourage more users to come forward and assist.
What do others think?

That's a really good idea! Though my two cents would be that this feature should be added only for half-translated languages, not any that have had no human work at all.
