Musescore won't download on my Mac Panther

I'm trying to download Musescore on my Mac Panther, but when I try to expand it using StuffIt, it either says "Corrupted Image" or "No mountable file systems." I'm not that knowledgable about computers, but can someone tell me what this means and how I can solve the problem?

For Mac, MuseScore 1.3 will only work on Snow Leopard, or higher.

What version will work with Panther?

I'm not sure if any have worked with Panther, actually.

If you are able to upgrade to Snow Leopard, or higher (depending on your computer), it would be better to use the latest version of MuseScore anyway, as it will have many improvements :).

Would you happen to know if there are any programs like MuseScore that work with Panther? Thanks in advance.
