Feature request for MuseScore 0.9.5
Hi everyone!
I'm using MuseScore 0.9.5 RC1 on Windows Vista.
I noticed the lack of this useful functions:
1) the ability to insert measure numbers when you want (for ex. using a keyboard shortcut)
2) the ability to number measures using a different interval (for ex. instead of starting from 1, starting from 10)
3) the ability to restart measure numeration from a certain measure

For numbers 2-3 see the "Add to measure no" in the Measure operations .
With regards to number 1, it is not possible to insert measure numbers at arbitrary measures but you can add measure numbers to every measure via Style > Edit Style > Numbers and selecting "Interval".

I tried using "Add to measure no" in the Measure Properties dialog, but every time I save the file and reload the numeration change disappears.

It looks like Werner fixed this today. See 31.jul of ChangeLog . It will be available in the upcoming release of 0.9.5
