How do you hide an instrument in the middle? For example I have bar 1-50 but I want the flute to be appeared on bar 1-20 only. So it can save some space and look neat.
Also how do you add an instrument in the middle as well.

Then look for Hide Empty Staves near the bottom of the page.
Important: Make sure you have this turned OFF until you have finished entering all the notes in your score otherwise it will hide the staves you want to work on!
