Problem with TAB in new nightly
Hi,
I updated to MuseScoreNightly-2013-08-21-2018-d86da17.7z
but in existing scores the TAB did not load correctly as TAB and once re-formatted bar lines were too long.
So I reverted to MuseScoreNightly-2013-08-15-1725-9560130.7z and the problem disappeared.
I hope this is useful feedback and in the right place?
Cheers,
Graham Jones

Hey GeePay, I moved your post to the Technology Preview forum. This is where we discuss everything regarding the nightly build. Thanks for your bug report.
Can you describe exactly, step by step, the problem you encounter? What do you mean "existing scores", from MuseScore 1.3; from previous nightlies? How do you reformat a barline?
Hi,
the scores which failed to load properly were two guitar tab single page tuition aids, written using TAB.
One was probably written using MuseScoreNightly-2013-06-22-1912-737b6dc.7z, or possibly an earlier version
[ MuseScoreNightly-2012-07-12-a3d5580.7z, MuseScoreNightly-2012-08-18-7c7d7a3.7z, or MuseScoreNightly-2012-10-22-36c7b4e.7z ]
The other earlier piece used treble clef & TAB and I believe was written using MuseScoreNightly-2012-07-12-a3d5580.7z .
In each case the document opened with the TAB displayed (in properties) on a standard stave (albeit, I think, with only one line). When changed (in properties) to a TAB clef the stave's bar lines protruded above and below the stave - readable but rather inelegant.
When I reverted to MuseScoreNightly-2013-08-15-1725-9560130.7z the problem disappeared.
Hope this is clear and helpful.
Cheers,
Graham Jones

It is clear but unfortunately we can't guarantee that one nightly will be open the files created by another nightly... If you can reproduce the behavior with a file created with the last nightly and opened in the last nightly, then it's a bug.
