Saving custom palettes
Okay, so I know how to make custom palettes but every time I save them and reopen Musescore, the new stuff I added to them in the last session is gone and I'm forced to directly access what I saved to get it back. What's more, I have to do this every time I start a new session. How do I save the custom palettes in a way that doesn't make my work from the last session disappear?

You should not need to save custom palettes - they should remain in effect automatically ubnless MuseScore crashes before you exit the program. Can you be more specific abotu what you are doing?

these answers that say it shouldn't happen are a little frustrating - I've been able to save custom palettes in the past as you describe. Not with 3.5.2
I make a custom palette, name it when prompted. Open a new session and the palette is gone
