horizontal lines
When installing, above a first ending, a horizontal
line having a "1." at the beginning, the right end
installs at the right end of the first measure.
When I lengthen the line to cover three measures,
the dotted line remains to the first measure, and
the playback is correspondingly wrong for the
second ending.
I don't know how to make it work.

The repeat brackets can span more than one measure. Double-click the volta (repeat bracket/line) to enter edit mode, and move the handles with:
•one measure right Shift + →
•one measure left Shift + ←
These commands move the "logical" start or end of the volta bracket, which determines playback in MuseScore.
