Problems

Can I safely wipe Musescore 1.3 from my computer and then reload it, using my same username and password? I have various problems: no "save online" under File, difficulty in creating the score, slow reaction to changing note values and severe scratchy interruptions to playback. I looked for help in the forums etc, as well as FAQs.

I recently had my computer "wiped" and got rid of Internet Explorer and have Google Chrome as my default browser. Any connection there with the change?

You can safely wipe MuseScore, sure. No user name or password is ever required to install it. But I'm guessing you aren't actually using 1.3 but an older version - one from before "save online" was added and before the scratchy playback bug was fixed. Perhaps you have muliple versions installed but are running the wrong one?

Last I heard Chrome was having issues with stability problems, so I currently have it removed from all my machines and am using Firefox instead.

Chrome may have sorted these out now, but certainly a month ago Firefox was considered the most stable browser.
