Nightly build - crash in Mac OSX 10.9 on high notes

• Nov 17, 2013 - 23:12

Hi,
I just encountered an easy-to-repro (at least on my system) crash on Mac OSX 10.9 in a nightly build. I have not tried to recreate on any other system.

*** System Environment ***
Mac OSX 10.9
Nightly build: musescore 2.0 rev 6166df5
(Unable to reproduce on stable release 1.3 rev 5702)

*** Steps to Reproduce ***
1. Create score with just single instrument.
2. Enter a single quarter note and hold the up arrow key until the note reaches the highest note allowed.
3. Press the b key

*** Expected Result ***
Error, warning message, or no change

*** Actual Result ***
musescore crashes.

Actually, I returned the MacBook during the 2-week grace period due to wifi issues, so I'm currently mac-less. I thought it might be specific to my machine, or maybe just a problem with Mavericks, but I am able to repro the issue on Windows 7 with build dc4f40b. I've attached a screenshot. I am using violin but have repro'd with some other instruments as well.
