Calling all composers! Christmas Music!

So I've been tasked with writing some christmas/icy themed music, and I just wanted to know what makes music sound christmasy. I know that instrumentation is a big part, sleighbells celesta etc. but I was wondering if anyone else has some tips on how to really make something sound like icy and brittle and wintery?
