Glissando off of second note?

My bad, I thought i did post the score. What I'm trying to do, is have just the glissando appear between one note to another, not overlapping any notes or anything.

I'm still not quite sure I understand. These look pretty normal to me. I guess maybe you're saying you want to adjust the length of the glissandi to add a little space before the second note? Unfortunately I don't think that's possible. Seems either these should be adjustable or else there should be a style setting to control the amount of space between the end of the line and the note.

Ouch! Doesn't look like that at all for me. Do all glissandi look like this for you, or is it perhaps just in this score? What version of MuseScore, what OS? I'm using 1.3 on Windows 7.

It's all glissandi that look like this. I happen to have Musescore 1.2 and I am running on a Mac OS X 10.6.8. It really bugs me because in one of my songs, the glissandos are really important and my high school band is going to be playing it and I can't have these bugs like this. I did switch macs from a really old one to this one, maybe it's just buggy because of the transfer. My 3/4 measures are also off-center.

Hmm, something is definitely wrong with your installation of MuseScore. I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling, but since you're a release behind, actually, I'd just suggest updating to 1.3 (but be forewarned it doesn't seem compatible with Mavericks). Wouldn't hurt to uninstall the old version first, though. Also perhaps Revert to factory settings .
I also wonder if you have a font installed that is conflicting with MuseScore. See Known incompatibilities .
You could also try downloading a nightly build of 2.0 (see Downloads link at right). I wouldn't actually create scores with it - not stable enough to depend on - but it's possible that a score you create in 1.3 will look better in 2.0. Don't worry, installing a nightly build won't interfere with your 1.X installation in any way.
Another thing to try - upload your score to musescore.com (see File / Save Online) and let it render your score to PDF. For that matter, try saving to PDF yourself, or printing - maybe the glitch you are seeing is on screen only?
