Mixed time signatures (FZappa scores)?
Just a general question about working with scores containing multiple odd time signatures. Case in point: Frank Zappa's Zomby Woof where the first four measures are: one bar of 3/4, one of 10/16, one of 2/4, and one of 5/4. I haven't figured out how to make this happen in Musescore. I tried creating a new score in 10/16, since there didn't seem to be a way of getting a bar of 10/16 any other way. This worked, and I was able to add the other time signatures (3/4, 2/4 and 5/4) from the palette by dragging them in, but I was only able to add these bars out of sequence (the order ended up 10/16, 3/4, 2/4, and 5/4). I tried inserting a measure and altering the measure's properties, ie., make a 2/4 measure into a 10/16 measure. This sort of worked, but did not display "10/16". So, my problem is how to insert that 10/16 measure successfully into the score? It seems all the other bars with more 'standard' time signatures were not a problem using the drag and drop from the palette.
Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks for your help.

You need to add the time signatures in order. Make sure you drag the time signature to the measure you want to time signature to start in. See attached.

Thanks. I think I've got the hang of it now that I understand the use of shift-T.
I think I have been able to answer my question using shift-T to create a 10/16 time signature. Please hold off your replies. Sorry for the confusion.
