How to remove guitar notation?

• Aug 11, 2017 - 20:21

Hello, I want to remove guitar notation from existing sheet music. Can you switch it of somewhere? I can't find it in the book or in the programm. It would save me a lot of time. An example is attached. Kind regards, Berkh.

I don't see any guitar notation. But I think you may be referring to the chord changes listed above the measures (If that's what you're referring to, those are mostly used as guides for pianists and guitarists in this kind of music I guess, but in jazz, all musicians use these to help with soloing). They are actually just text above the measure so you just have to select them and delete them. Since the example doesn't have any other text, you can right-click one of them and then press "Select all similar elements." All of them will be selected so you can delete them all at once.

Thanks speedmeteor101! The "Select all similar elements" works great! That saves me a lot of time and frustration for not having to select and delete the chord changes one by one. Yes these were the things I was referring to. I don't play guitar, so I don't know anything about them and I don't need them either.
