Trouble with hidden empty staves
Hey all,
I'm creating a score where I need to hide empty staves, but I would like the piano to always remain visible. I flipped on the "never hide" feature in the staff properties for the piano, but there's a section where only the right hand is playing, and it still hides the bass clef. Anyone know of a good solve to this?

Should work as expected. Did you select the never hide option in staff properties for both: treble and bass staff?

I came up with a roundabout solution involving the placement of the line breaks (and would rather not post the full score, cuz it's not my music). There is only staff properties available for the whole instrument (because it's technically a grand staff). Thank you though.

If layout is ever of concern, you can put a note in the second voice on the staff, silence it and make the entire voice invisible in that measure.

Good you've found a workaround for you. But I can't reproduce the problem, it's not clear for me. When I'm using the "grand staff" from templates, it's able for me to select "never hide" for both: the staff of treble clef and the staff of bass clef and it works for me as expected (although it's one single instrument) with the adjustment "hide empty staffs".
