Palette not working
When I drag an element, it does not apply to the measure even though the measure is highlighted.
This is new. I tried several different ones with no success.

Certain elements attach to the measure, but most need to attach to specific *notes*. Either way, make sure you don't just drop in the general vicinity of the measure or note - it has to actually be *highlighted* when you release. Items that require you to attach to certain notes will only highlgiht notes - they won't highlight measures. And vice versa.
Also, for objects that need to be attached to specific notes, it works to click the note then double click the palette icon - no drag required.
If that doesn't solve your problem, please provide more info - post the score you are having problems with and tell us *specifically* which palette you are trying to add and where you are trying to add it. Again, *most* palette items need to be dropped directly onto a note (or rest). About the only things that can dropped on measures are the brackets, key & time signatures, clefs, things in the "lines" and "barlines" palettes, plus the breaks and spacers.
