using numbers as noteheads.

Hi MuseScore. I am one of those who is eagerly awaiting Musescore 2.0 for it's guitar tablature abilities. Yesterday I used a five stave to write tablature for a six string instrument.This was written with good old pen and paper.

Assuming the clef is a treble clef.the spaces i used were:
D4=6th string
F4=5th string
A4=4th string
C5=3rd string
E5=2nd string
and G5=1st string.

would it be hard for you to create note heads with the numbers 0-18?
If they were created I could use the existing stave in musescore.

It would work great for me as a quick fix until musescore 2.0.

thank you all,
damien.

Whether it would be hard or not is a moot point since development of 1.x has ceased as focus has been directed at 2.x. You can go some way to a temporary fix, however, by changing the stave to 6 lines (in stave properties), placing ordinary notes on the "strings" then making the notes stemless (from note properties) and invisible (right-click, select all similar, invisible) and adding fingering numbers.

Note - you can play about with it to get a look of TAB but it won't play back.
