Volta being skipped
Hi,
I have created Pinwheel in MS for Uni and I can;t seem to get the Voltas to work properly on playback. At the moment they are being totally ignored but when first placed the bar within the volta just wasn't played. I have attached the piece. Any help would be appreciated. pinwheel.mscz

MuseScore is very picky about repeats when it comes to playback. You can't have any mismatched repeats (start without end or vice versa, or any voltas that don't fit a simple pattern. The piece you are copying has no start repeat at beginning of the solo section, and the voltas at the end of it require a human being to read the text and understand. All this confuse the playback.
FWIW, I write for humans, not for computer playback. If it makes sense to real musicians, I don't worry about whether MuseScore might play it right or not.

Thanks Marc, I didn't realise that the strange X volta at the end and the lack of repeat on the solo section would affect the first voltas numbered 1 and 2.
