Random changes?!
Whoa! Today I tried out my new MIDI cable, which worked great. Problem was, soon I grew tired of it, and put it down. I then continued with my music, and not long after, random notes would play instead of the notes I would input. Then, random instruments. I kind of waived this, thinking that it was a weird one time thing. Then I tried to playback the music. It didn't play it. It looked like it did, then didn't. I tried again, same thing. I tried again, this time it started at a completely random time, with wrong instruments playing. I tried once more. It played at the end of the song, when I had quite purposely brought it to the beginning. I decided it might be the MIDI. I unplugged it, and played the song back, and much to my horror, all 30 instruments had been changed to piano! I am lost, help, please!

Impossible to say without more information. Ideally, step by instructions on how to reproduce what you did, but failing that, at least if you post the score, we might be able to make some sort of guess. You say all 30 instruments had been changed to piano - what were they originally? How did you tell MuseScore those were the instruments you wanted?
