Application crashes after deleting application folders

Hi,

I had two different MuseScore folders from two different versions. After I deleted the new one and had copied the content to the old one I rearranged the options in MuseScore to find the new folder. But at the end, MuseScore crashed and I could not restart it anymore. Even deleting the applications and folders and downloading the installing files the newly installed MuseScore does not start.

And I experienced that I could run the application from the window, which is used for moving the application to the application folder. Having moved it to the application folder the application does not run!!

I have MacOS Siera 10.12.6 on a new MacBookPro

Hi,

from a different software support, (Native Instruments) I got the hint to delete some file in the folder userhome/library/preferences.

I used this method for MuseScore and deleted the file: org.musescore.MuseScore2.plist

Now the application launches and runs perfectly
