How do I remove notes???!?!
I have no idea how to remove notes from a measure and I've tried everything I can think of help please!!!

Select them, press delete. You can also just overwrite them.
If you mean how do you remove a bar itself, select the bar and press Ctrl delete.
In case you haven't, I have found reading the handbook useful. :)
