My scores randomly duplicated

Ok so I was looking at one of my scores today (on Mac) and when I went to open it I found a tab titled "open recent," and when I opened it I found what appeared to be duplicated versions of some of my scores except they weren't fully up to date, like older versions of those scores. The files have what looks like randomly generated names such as "scvPg205" and "sckUO517." They do not show up on my list of saved scores in the "Open" tab or the "Finder" window on the Mac. I cannot save them and I cannot delete them because they aren't saved. What do I do?
