.mpal files can not be opened
Hallo, I have downloaded an extension (the Barrée-signs for guitar), but my computer says ".mpal files are not compatible with Windows 32-bit". Is there a solution to this problem?

You mean when double-clicking such an .mpal file hat indeed won't work, as MuseScore is not registered to handle them, instead create yourself a user modified palette (by clicking in the +), then vie right-click into that load the .mpal file
