Making A Medley
I really have no clue how to insert a new score after another one, and when I control c control v my score, it just puts the notes in but in the instruments that are there already. basically I don't know how to reset the instruments, make a page break and whatnot. can someone help?

Page breaks are added from the Breaks palette - see the Handbook under Breaks and spacers.
To add more measures, Add / Measures - see the Handbook under Measure operations.
To add more instruments, Edit / Instruments - see the Handbook under Create a new score (probably deserves its own section?)
